What truly matters?
Will what I do today really matter 10 years from now, or 100 years from now?
This question inspires me to live with more purpose. So much of what we do today will last for only a short time. How do we get rid of the time wasters in our lives and add things of lasting value?
What if people who lived in the 1800s had lived only for their own pleasure? Fortunately, some of them chose to help others, build character in their children, and try to make their world a better place for those who were to come after them. Today we enjoy the conveniences of electrical appliances, trains, autos, and a host of other inventions that were developed in the nineteenth century. Are we doing anything today that will improve the lives of those who come after us? What do you think really matters? Please leave your comments below for others to see.
