The Latest Book Signing
The book signing for “Ella Travels the Erie Canal”, last Saturday, October 29th, created some excitement. It took place at the Cocoon Gallery, 221 N. Salem Street in Apex, NC. This shop features the works of local artisans, and I had the privilege of interacting with the customers. A number of them lived in the Great Lakes area and were surprised to learn about my new historical fiction series. These stories take place in a small NY town by Lake Ontario in 1884-1885. Those were stories about places where they lived. I had the complete series available, so some customers bought all six of the books.
I smiled when I pictured customers snuggled under a warm throw on cool nights, reading about the adventures of the Woodhams family.
In case you missed the book signing this past week, don’t worry. There will be a book fair on November 19th from 9:00AM to 12:00 noon at the First United Methodist Church at 402 N. Main Street in Fuquay Varina. Other authors will join me to offer you some award-winning books that morning. These make great Christmas presents, and you can get a signed book. Please join us!!
